Three of our solutions are now certified to LPS 1175 E10 (SR5), our range forms a complete solution, providing both unparalleled protection and invaluable time for your buildings.
Time is the most valuable resource physical security products can offer against determined forced entry attempts. Even a few minutes of delay can be enough for authorities to arrive or intruders to abandon their efforts.
What is LPS 1175?
LPS 1175 is a forced entry security standard developed by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). Its purpose is to measure the resistance of physical security products against a variety of tools and times.
Category E, in particular, covers determined attacks by experienced intruders using a range of powerful mechanical and electrical tools, including grinders, saws, sledgehammers, and bolt cutters.
For attacks as severe as Category E’s toolkit describes, 10 minutes requires significant effort from the invaders. The sheer physical effort required can lead attackers to abandon the attempt or allow the local authorities a critical window to respond and arrive at the scene, halting progress and preventing further damage or injuries.
